We went to the animal fair,
The birds and the bees were there,
The big baboon by the light of the moon
Was combing his auburn hair.
The monkey fell out of his bunk (woo!)
And fell on the elephant's trunk,
The elephant sneezed, went down to his knees
And that was the end of the monk, the monk the monk the monk
One half of the singers keep chanting "the monk the monk" in rhythm while the other half repeats the verse, then swap over; continue.
